Filmmaker Park Soo-nam and her daughter Park Ma-eui restore a long-preserved collection of 16mm film. The recovered images reconnect testimony about colonial rule, war and the atomic bombings with the present, while tracing the mother’s life and commitment to recording Koreans in Japan.
