Synopsis

During a night shift at London’s Portobello Hotel, a receptionist quietly watches an eclectic procession of guests. Musicians, gamblers and other nocturnal visitors pass through the lobby as routine gestures give way to a dreamlike atmosphere. Robina Rose’s film captures a night suspended between work, wakefulness and sleep.
